In addition to our school programs and Signature Mommy & Me sensory classes, we are excited for you to join our Unplugged Nature classes. At Hugs & Bugs Club, we have always believed in small group sizes and learning through play for our students. We have expanded our class offerings and now have our NEW “Mommy & Me in Nature” classes!
MOMMY & ME IN NATURE class
Mommy & Me in Nature class is for children 18 months to 4 years old. Caregivers join their child on a guided nature outing. Filled with nature sensory play, bug hunts, scavenger hunts and so much more! Let’s join together to connect with nature and explore the beauty around us!

Mommy & Me in Nature classes are for children 18 months thru 4 years old: Caregivers join their child on a guided nature outing. Filled with nature sensory play, bug hunts, scavenger hunts and so much more! Let’s join together to connect with nature and explore the beauty around us!
This is a lovely opportunity to encourage social and emotional development, build friendships for our children as well as caregivers and have fun in nature.
This is a time for us to connect with Mother Nature and learn through play. Each class will consist of 8 children with caregiver. This is strictly an outdoor class and will meet at Church Square Park and community gardens in Hoboken.

Unplugged Nature Pods for children 4+ years old
This is a 2 hour drop-off class for children 4+ years old with previous drop off experience. In a small group, they will join their guide throughout Hoboken’s gardens and nature areas. They will explore nature sensory play, bug hunts, scavenger hunts, nature process art activities and so much more!

Unplugged NATURE School
The Nature School at Hugs & Bugs Club is founded on the belief that children are natural born scientists, motivated to learn in a warm and safe environment through exploration, investigation, discovering and solving problems in an organic way. In a world that is mostly hands off for children, we believe it is their job to touch everything they can get their little fingers on because we know it is essential to their mental development. It is our job to give them a safe place to do so. Our space is inspired by nature and sensory development, and is designed to provoke the curiosities of our children.

Hugs & Bugs Club Unplugged Nature Pods offer an alternative to virtual learning by combining a child-led learning approach and exploration of nature in a small social group. Our Unplugged pod series are for families seeking a fun and social-filled addition to their homeschooling or virtual routine.
