Our Summer camp includes:

• Every day is filled with unlimited outdoor play

• Learning through organic, creative exploration

• Messy play and process art

• True socialization with group activities

• New themes each week

• Session based to build lasting friendships

We are thrilled to announce our Hugs & Bugs Club Summer Camp 2025 is open for registration! There will be so much for your children to explore with different themes each week, field trips around town, and much more!

Summer camp is available for children 4-8 years old at our 537 Park Avenue location. Children must be 4 by June 15th.

Our 4-8 year old campers join us Monday-Friday from 9am-2pm. Early drop off option at 8:30am and extended day options 2pm-4pm are also available.

Sessions are open for enrollment. Weekly options will open 5/15.

SESSION ONE:

Week ONE 6/16-6/20

Outdoor Adventure club!

Let’s explore Mother Nature and investigate found materials, make potions and art projects with our findings and hunt for some BUGS too!

SESSION TWO:

Week Two 6/23-6/27

Blast from the Past

What’s your favorite dinosaur? I’m sure your child has more than one! Let’s learn about these magnificent creatures this week while we make prints in clay, sift through sand bins for dinosaur bones, explore herbivores favorite foods, dig for dinosaur eggs and go on our very own dinosaur dig in the park!

Week THREE 6/30-7/3 (no camp 7/4)

Cast Away

We will explore a world of knot-making, colored sand, hidden notes, and pirate maps. And to end our awesome Cast Away week,  we will use problem-solving and teamwork to complete our very own scavenger hunt around town!

SESSION THREE:

Week Four 7/7-7/11

Art Mash Up

Many cultures have expressed their love of art through various mediums. We will explore various art materials and mediums to make beautiful pieces such as clay, cardboard, negative spaces, wires, wood, paint, yarn projects, etc.

The week will culminate with our space transforming into an art gallery

Week Five 7/14-7/18

Olympics

This week is all about testing our strength and endurance by creating fun olympic style games! Are you ready?!

Week six 7/21-7/25

Cardboard City

Calling all engineers! Let’s create a city of building made with cardboard. Rooms, hallways, doors and windows! We’ll explore various art materials decorating our cardboard city too!

SESSION FOUR:

Week Seven 7/28-8/1

A Community of Superheroes

For Hugs & Bugs Club, superhero week is all about helping our local community and meeting the “superheroes” in our own backyard. We’ll explore the different roles people play in our city like Hoboken Fire Department. We will also partner with a local charity to put our creativity to good use.

Week eight 8/4-8/8

All about Lemonade!

A yearly favorite! Our children learn about making a product (Lemonade) and selling it! They design their own lemonade stand and create their own recipes!

WEek nine 8/11-8/15

Knights & Magic

Let’s add a dash of magic and some battles between good and evil as we explore the art of storytelling. We will create our own magical worlds, write our own stories to enact, make our own battle gear and magic potions!

SESSION FIVE:

Week ten 8/18-8/22

CARNIVAL

Face painting, popcorn, fun games, tattoos, art and so much more! All about carnival festivities! Our children will create and set up their booths for each other to enjoy!

SESSION SIX:

Week eleven 8/25-8/29

Lights, Camera, Action!

Our children will create their own characters and write their script together! They will prepare their wardrobe, accessories and makeup as well as their set pieces and props and maybe some fun accents too!

Refund Policy:

Sawyer, our registration and payment platform, collects 3.5% of the full cost of each session of camp at the time of booking, therefore, processing fees are 3.5% of the FULL session of camp that will not be returned if you need to cancel camp.  A full refund (minus 3.5% processing fees of full camp session and the $350/per week non-refundable deposit per session) will be issued if notified in writing 4/1/25. A 50% refund (minus 3.5% processing fees of full camp session and the $350/per week non-refundable deposit) will be issued if notified by 5/1/25. Refunds of balance payments will not be issued after 5/1/25. No exceptions will be made for any reason.
