Unplugged nature pods

Hugs & Bugs Club Unplugged Nature Pods offer an alternative to virtual learning by combining a child-led learning approach and exploration of nature in a small social group.

Mommy & Me Unplugged Nature pods for children 2+ years old: Caregivers join their child on a guided nature outing throughout Hoboken. Filled with nature sensory play, bug hunts, scavenger hunts and so much more! Let’s join together to connect with nature and explore the beauty around us!

Drop off Unplugged Nature pods for children 4+ years old: This is a 2 hour drop-off class for children with previous drop off experience. In a small group, they will join their guide throughout Hoboken’s gardens and nature areas. They will explore nature sensory play, bug hunts, scavenger hunts, nature process art activities and so much more!

This is a time for us to connect with Mother Nature and learn through play.

Each Unplugged Nature Pod will consist of 5-8 children ages 4+ years old to allow siblings to join together. Projects will be modified for each child to learn and enjoy.
